Afterward, you’ll need to climb 528 stone steps to reach the cave’s entrance.
Once inside, you will immediately feel the difference. The cave’s temperature hovers around 22°C, providing a cool, comfortable atmosphere. You will be awestruck by the magnificent stalactites and stalagmites that are formed in various stunning shapes, making it a photographer’s paradise.
Exploring the 7km Cave System
After the first 1km, the true exploration begins. Equipped with necessary gear like headlamps, helmets, and under the guidance of local tour guides, you will continue your journey through the remaining cave system.
The first 500m is a cylindrical-shaped section of the cave, with the highest point reaching 80m and the widest point around 120m. Here, you’ll encounter massive sparkling stalactites, some of which look like diamonds, and columns of crystal-clear formations resembling marble.
