This 2-day, 1-night tour will take you to explore the most stunning caves in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. You’ll spend the night at a cozy hotel located right by the Chay River, where you can relax and watch boats drift by. The hotel enjoys a prime location, facing towering limestone cliffs, characteristic of the Phong Nha – Ke Bang UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. With modern amenities and a rustic, authentic charm, it’s the perfect place to unwind after an exciting day of caving, and to prepare for the next adventure.

Itinerary

Day 1 (Lunch and Dinner)

7:30 - 8:00 AM: Our driver will pick you up at your hotel in Dong Hoi City and transfer you to Paradise Cave, the longest dry cave in Asia, located in the core zone of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park (approximately 75 km from Dong Hoi, about a 1 hour 20-minute drive).
OR
8:30 - 9:00 AM: Our driver will pick you up at your hotel in Phong Nha village and transfer you to Paradise Cave, the longest dry cave in Asia, located in the core zone of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park.

You will then take a golf cart (1.6 km) from the main gate, through the jungle, to the base of the cave. From there, you will climb to the entrance, offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

With its natural, primitive features, Paradise Cave resembles a breathtaking landscape painting. Since its discovery in 2010, it has amazed many visitors. The deeper you explore the cave, the more you feel surrounded by the serene, heavenly atmosphere. The cave’s height reaches up to 72 meters and is 150 meters wide. Inside, you’ll see stunning white crystal stalactites and other spectacular rock formations.

12:30: Lunch at Dark Cave Restaurant, where you will enjoy a traditional Vietnamese dish. Vegetarian options are available. Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

13:30: Visit Dark Cave, located in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, and engage in various adventure activities such as zip-lining, mud baths, swimming, kayaking, adventure courses, and caving.

Dark Cave offers an action-packed experience. The adventure includes zip-lining over a turquoise river, swimming into the cave’s entrance (life jackets provided), walking through the dark with only a headlamp to guide you, having a mud fight in the buoyant mud baths deep inside the cave, washing off with a swim in the lake, and kayaking back across the river.

Please bring: Swimwear and a towel. Lockers for your belongings will be provided with a 50,000 VND deposit, refunded upon return of the locker key.

Note: Zip-lining requires a weight range of 40-90 kg.

17:00: Return to the hotel for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2 (Breakfast and Lunch)

Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Then, you’ll have free time to relax, play billiards, or cycle around Phong Nha village to enjoy the beautiful landscape and fresh atmosphere. You’ll be provided with bikes at the hotel (free for 2 hours of cycling).

12:30: Check out from the hotel. Your tour guide will pick you up for lunch in Phong Nha Village, where you’ll enjoy another traditional Vietnamese dish. Vegetarian options are available. Please inform us in advance if you have any dietary restrictions, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

13:30: Depart for Phong Nha Cave. You’ll take a 25-minute traditional dragon boat ride to the cave. Known as a water cave, it features an underground river. Once inside, you’ll explore 300 meters of the cave on foot. Afterward, you’ll return by boat. This cave is famous for its spectacular rock formations, with names like the "Lion," "Fairy Caves," "Royal Court," and "Buddha" given to its stunning features.

Phong Nha Cave is not only a world natural heritage site but also a historic relic of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, which was used during the Vietnam War. It once served as a hospital, with weapons installed at the entrance for protection. Today, it stands as part of the first section of the famous Ho Chi Minh Trail, offering a lush, mountainous landscape.

16:15 - 17:20: You will be returned to your hotel in Phong Nha or Dong Hoi train station. The tour ends here!
